Triangulation

evaluates the surface reflection from the object
Triangulation sensors, background and foreground suppressors evaluate the surface reflection from the object. According to the degree of reflection the switching distance is larger or smaller. Due to the limited range a predefined area can be monitored. Usually these sensors work with infrared light or with visible red light. The range can be limited by triangulation.
